The hotel is in a fantastic location - just a few steps from the many bars and restaurants of the Old Town and less than a 5 minute walk to the beach. The room was a reasonable size for two. We had two single beds and a make-up table with a chair. Kettle and tea/coffee and lots of power points, There was a TV and minibar which we didn't use so I can't comment on the channels or content. The rainfall shower was nice and warm and the bathroom had all the ameneties you would expect. We had a large window that opened up to the main street which provided a nice breeze if the air-con was off for the winter. Breakfast was nice with a good choice of hot and cold food, but the room is quite small so can get a bit tight for space during busy times. The staff are all super friendly and seem very happy to help with any questions or provide assistance.

The property is very nice and modern, and the rooms are very well equipped and have comfortable beds and nice modern bathrooms. The location is great because it is right on the edge of Nice’s old town, but still on a street that allows taxis to pick you up when you need to go to the airport. (this is important!) The staff was very helpful and gave recommendations for restaurants. Additionally they were there 24/7 at the front desk, which is very nice to have when you’re traveling. I would absolutely stay here again and I would recommend it to any friends and family. In fact I will be back to Nice and so I will be staying here again! :)

The hotel itself boasts a Matisse-related history: the artist stayed in it when he came to Nice (but everything of course has been renovated). Partnership with a private beach is an advantage, too, if booked in advance, you’ll get a place with an umbrella with a discount.

Cleaners were polite, good at their job and always cheery - towels were always fresh. The location is perfect.
